Scarlett commands the green.

“Avengers” star Scarlett Johansson is now the highest-paid actress on the planet, according to a new list from Forbes.

Johansson, 33, made $40.5 million, pre-tax, from June 2017 to June 2018, thanks to her role of Black Widow in Marvel’s “Avengers: Infinity War,” as well as starring in “Rough Night” and the controversial movie “Ghost in the Shell.”

“The percent of budget cost have certainly skewed heavy, particularly on the ‘Avengers’ movies, to cast now, whereas maybe in the early ones it was more visual effects or below the line,” Marvel Studios president and producer Kevin Feige told Forbes last year. “But that’s OK because [the actors]are the best effects.”

Johansson eclipsed No. 2, Angelina Jolie, who made $28 million in the last year, thanks largely to another Disney project, “Maleficent 2.” Brad Pitt’s other ex Jennifer Aniston came in at No. 3, earning $19.5 million, mostly from endorsement deals with Aveeno, Smartwater and Emirates Airlines.

Jennifer Lawrence, who was named the highest paid actress of 2015 and 2016, clocked in at No. 4 with $18 million, despite “Mother!” and “Red Sparrow” disappointing at the box office. Her pay was bolstered by another turn as Mystique in “X-Men: Dark Phoenix” and a Dior deal.

Making a reported $1 million per episode of the second season of “Big Little Lies,” combined with “Home Again” and “A Wrinkle in Time” earnings, brought Reese Witherspoon to No. 5 with $16.5 million.

Emma Stone topped the list last year after starring in “La La Land.”
